Mod Chip features:
- On/Off switch uses Xbox console buttons (No ugly external switch).
- Can play Xbox Live without getting banned. Just turn off Mod Chip
before playing.
- Allows Hard Drive upgrade with no size limitations. Install a large
HD and store your games locally rather than having a collection of
discs
- Play your backup games, any regions games, and homebrew software like
old-school game system emulators
- Plays DVDs, MP3s, WMA, DIVX, XVID, WMV just like a media center.
- Dual BIOS setup allows for recovery in the event of a BIOS
corruption.
My chip vs. "Lite" chips
- Come with all the software of a "Lite" install but the chip features
an on/off to allow play on Xbox live, and a dual bios setup to prevent
a BIOS failure. Buying from me gets you a high quality chip that will
last, rather than getting garbage and saving yourself a few bucks.
I also install all the software for you (Dashboard, DVD2Xbox, etc), so
you can just go home and turn it on. It's that simple.

$50 installation for v1.1-1.5, $60 installation for v1.0 and 1.6-1.6b
There is no guaranteed way of knowing the version until you open the
xbox up, but as an approximation, xboxes with a manufacturing date
before 09/2002 will most likely be v1.0, and xboxes with a
manufacturing date after 04/2004 will be a 1.6 or 1.6b.
Anyone bringing more than one box, or referring a friend will get all
boxes modded for $50 each regardless of version.
I also offer Hard Drive installations. $5 if you provide the HD when I
am doing a mod install, $10 as a stand alone service.
